HDS Plant is situated in the city of uMhalathuze in the Empangeni area at 14-16 Steel way Road (Opposite Tusk Umfolozi Casino).This company has been registered Engineering since 1992 and we started a plant hire division in 1995.The demand for plant was greater thereby continued specializing only in plant
Our Plant is hired out to all industries such as mining, shipping, transport, agriculture, construction; paper etc ranging up to 600km away from our depot.

Haren Sewpaul qualified as a boiler maker / welder at Tongaat Hullet Sugar Darnall Mill in 1989.He worked at Bell Equipment Richards Bay factory but needed more challenging tasks than just at the ADT line. He then undertook the opportunity of moving to Rowley Morgan Engineering (Better known as Dormac) where he gained more experience in fabricating .machining, etc.
Being an HDI at that particular time better work positions were not obtainable. Having been trained at SASAITC & Sastri College & having practical experience from companies he decided to open his own Engineering workshop ie,frabricating,machining & specialized welding (aluminum) etc

All drivers / operators are medically tested by qualified occupational medical practitioners they are issued with fitness certificates and operator certificates.Employess are sent for KBC training under Kruger Barnard Consultants. Inductions of various sites and mills are conducted before commencement of any work. Truck drivers have PDP (public driving permit).All our operators are licensed to drive on public roads and places. They have on hand experience in the construction, building industry and always produce the work required by them.

We have contingency plans in place for workers falling sick or absent - standby operators are always available.
